If your classes or lectures happen on Zoom, Distill picks up right where the recording ends. Upload manually or connect Zoom cloud recording for fully automatic processing.
What you can do with Zoom
Auto-import from Zoom cloud
Once connected, every cloud recording in your Zoom account flows into Distill within minutes of the meeting ending. No manual upload.
Speaker-aware transcription
Distill uses Zoom's speaker labels alongside its own diarization for dramatically better accuracy on multi-person calls.
Meeting summary email
After each meeting, optionally receive a short email summary with key decisions, action items, and a link to the full Distill artifact.
Manual upload fallback
If you don't want to connect Zoom cloud, just drag the mp4 into Distill. Same pipeline, same output.

Frequently asked questions
Does this work with Zoom Basic (free) accounts?
Only if you have cloud recording enabled. The Basic plan doesn't include cloud recording by default, so manual upload is the fallback.
What about classroom recordings from my university's Zoom?
If your institution's Zoom admin allows OAuth apps, yes. If not, manual upload works — just download the mp4 from your LMS and drop it in.
Who can see the Zoom recording in Distill?
Only you. Distill respects per-recording access; we don't share recordings across accounts or with your meeting participants.
