Distill generates flashcards from every lecture; Anki handles the spaced-repetition scheduling. This integration keeps your flashcard workflow inside the tool you already trust.
What you can do with Anki
Auto-export after every lecture
Every time Distill generates a new flashcard deck, it's pushed to Anki as an .apkg file — ready to drag into the desktop app or sync via AnkiWeb.
Preserve cloze formatting
Cloze-delete cards generated by Distill use Anki's native {{c1::...}} syntax. No reformatting needed.
Tags that match your Anking workflow
Cards are tagged by lecture, organ system (for med students), and source timestamp. Drop into your existing Anking deck and the tags merge cleanly.
Source audio link on every card
Each card links back to the exact second in the source audio where the claim was made. Tap once to verify a fact you're unsure about.

Frequently asked questions
Does it work with AnkiMobile?
Yes — once you've imported on desktop and synced with AnkiWeb, the deck appears on AnkiMobile automatically.
Can I use the Anking deck alongside Distill cards?
Yes, and this is the recommended med-school workflow. Distill-generated cards use school-specific tags that coexist with Anking's tagging scheme.
What about FSRS?
Distill's cards work with both SM-2 and FSRS. Card quality doesn't change between schedulers; only the review order does.
